Stuffed Peppers Recipe

1 pound ground turkey
4 red or green bell peppers
1/2 white onion
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
Small pack of mushrooms
1/2 jar tomato/marinara sauce
Shredded cheese of your choice  


  1. Heat pan on medium heat and preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Dice the onion and mushrooms. Begin cooking the onion and garlic in the pan

  3. When the onion and garlic starts to get translucent after a few minutes, add the meat and mushrooms

  4. Slice the bell peppers in half and remove the core + seeds

  5. Once the meat has been browned, add the sauce and salt & pepper the mixture to taste. Stir occasionally

  6. Put the peppers in a baking dish and fill them with the meat mixture when it begins to simmer

  7. Bake the peppers. After 20 minutes (or until the peppers start to soften), pull them out and cover with shredded cheese

  8. Bake for 5 more minutes

  9. Let the peppers cool and then eat!
