Taum Sauk Mountain Many options These trails are about an hour and a half drive south of St. Louis. There is an easy paved hike to the highest elevation point in Missouri (1,772 feet). Then make your way down to Mina Sauk Falls for a 3 mile loop that takes you back to the parking area.
